At every instant the Sun has one longitude, and that longitude is either below three hundred and thirty degrees or above it. An hour before, you are entirely Aquarius. An hour after, you are entirely Pisces. Nothing is shared between them.
What the word cusp really names is an absence of data. Someone had your calendar date but not your year, your hour or your birthplace, and blending the two signs was the only way to cover both possibilities. Supply the missing pieces and the blend evaporates, leaving one plain answer.
